Metadata++ 2.05.2 starts, asks for Exiftool and exits

I downloaded the portable version 2.05.2 without ExifTool (size 4MB) and unzipped it to “C:\Program Files\Metadata++-2-05-2” (Windows 10 x64).
ExifTool is installed (version 12.89) and works.

At startup Metadata++ asks for the ExifTool, so I enter the EXE-file. The software then closes.

What could be the reason? If I start with admin privileges, it makes no difference.

Problem is solved:
I was able to start with adim privileges and in compatibility mode for Win 8, when starting again admin privileges only are sufficient.
